Welcome South Towns
Introduction:
ONE Credit Union is excited to have you as a valued member. As you know, on June 30, 2024, South Towns Community Federal Credit Union (STCFCU) became part of ONE Credit Union (ONE CU). This will mean a few changes to your account, and we want to make sure you know exactly what’s happening.
Each section below goes over a different part of your membership. Not every section will pertain to a product or service that you use.
Membership Account Number
Your account number will become 7 digits. If you have a 4-digit account/membership number add 400 to the beginning. Example: current member number 1234, New member 4001234. If you have a 5-digit number add 40 to the beginning. Ex: 12345 new number 4012345.
Checking Account
- If you have a payroll or other direct deposit, it will continue to come in as usual.
- If you start a new direct deposit, you will use your new account number format as seen above. If you have questions, please call us and we will provide them for you.
- For withdrawals by ACH: If you have any withdrawals by ACH, please update the account number to your new account number.
- If you are using checks, you may continue to use them. They will post as usual.

Debit Card
If you have an active STCFCU Debit Card:
Approximately October 17, 2024, we will mail you a ONE CU debit card. Please activate the card upon receipt. You will begin using this card on November 1, 2024.
- This will replace your STCFCU debit card.
- STCFCU debit card will not work after October 31, 2024. Please cut up the card and dispose of it properly.
- When you activate your ONE CU debit card you can set your new PIN.
- The activation number is 1-800-992-3808
- If you have recurring activity on your debit card, you will need to update that account with your new debit card number.
- Below is a checklist that may help you recognize things that need to be updated.

ATM Access:
- ONE Credit Union offers the Allpoint ATM Network surcharge free! Click here to find an ATM near you!
- ONE Credit Union offers 2 free withdrawals at ATMs per month for free with additional ATM withdrawals costing $0.50 each.
- We have 2 ATMs of our own. These ATMs are free for you to use with your ONE CU debit card and do not count toward your 2 free withdrawals. They are located at the branch at the Veterans Hospital and Union Road.
Online Banking:
- If you use Online Banking at STCFCU it will no longer be available after October 31, 2024.
- To save previous statements, please download and save them or print them. They will no longer be available in online banking. “Your October 2024 statement will come to you on paper.”
- You can enroll in ONE CU online banking on or after November 3, 2024, by clicking here.
- Once you get to the online banking page follow these steps to get logged in.
1. Click the online banking link
2. Click First time user / Enroll in online banking
3. Enter your new membership number: 7 digits
4. Enter the last 4 of your social security number as your temporary PIN.
5. Create a new logon ID and create a new password. Click the question mark symbol for requirements.
6. You should get a message of success. Now click logon.
7. Choose and answer the MFA questions. These are case sensitive.
8. Read terms and conditions. Once you accept you will go to the next screen.
9. Enter valid email address and mobile phone number- click save.
10. You are ready to use online banking!!
Mobile Banking:
- Visit our website or your app store to download the ONE CU mobile app.
- Search ONE Credit Union of NY. Do your banking anytime and anywhere!
Email:
ONE CU uses email to communicate important news, including emergency branch closure, special offers and new products. Don’t miss out, contact our office to be certain we have your correct email.
Loans:
If you have a loan with STCFCU:
- If you mail a check, please make the check out to ONE Credit Union.
- If you use Bill Pay at another financial institution, please update the information to your new account number and change the name to ONE Credit Union. Note: be sure to choose ONE Credit Union of NY.
- You can use MessagePay. With MessagePay you can make instant loan payments from another financial institution (Fee Applies).
- Use Transfer Now. This allows you to transfer funds from another financial institution.
- Have your payment automatically withdrawn from your ONE CU account.
VISA Credit Card:
If you have a STCFCU Visa Credit Card, you may continue to use it the way you do today. We will replace credit cards in 2025. We will send you information when the time comes.
On or after Monday, November 4, 2024, you can do your banking at “ANY” ONE Credit Union office!

Yes. You may select your unique PIN when calling to activate your card.
To ensure there is no interruption with recurring or preauthorized payments (such as monthly utility bills, insurance payments, club dues, etc.) contact the merchant by 10/31/2024 with your new card number and expiration date.
Yes, you will be able to do your banking at all 3 branch offices.
